Is Google Killing Ppc?

People everywhere are feeling the sting of the Google slap more often now than they ever have in the past.  In an effort to clean up their sponsored search results, Google has made it harder to meet their quality standards for landing pages, websites, and even sales letters.  Online marketers that used AdWords as a mainstay for traffic generation are not only being slapped, they are even having their accounts completely shut down.  Google PPC is even going so far as to NEVER allow some people to advertise with them again.

In the past anyone could start a PPC campaign with Google, enter a few key words and start generating traffic to their website.  Using AdWords only required a relevant ad, relevant website and a decent list of key words and even a new marketer could get their ads up and running in very little time.  The advertiser’s landing pages would be reviewed over time by spiders and if there was a problem, a few changes to the landing page would usually solve the problem.

Now, Google’s PPC rules seem to have changed.  Any site involving network marketing, mlm, making money online, or anything along those lines is being strictly reviewed for quality standards and in a lot of cases those advertisers accounts are being permanently shut down.  This poses HUGE problem for a some of the most experienced marketers on the planet because they had their entire traffic generation strategy hinged on AdWords and as a result their income has dwindled down to next to nothing.

So by creating all these drastic changes, are they shooting themselves in the foot?  In some ways they are.  I know many people that were spending well over $10,000 a month on AdWords that have had to abandon Google PPC altogether.  I also know where there is traffic, there will always be smart marketers who will figure out how to send it to their site.  So while some people who suddenly had the rug pulled out from under them will flounder, the best of the best will find a way to get back in Google’s good graces and figure out how to use the best pay per click advertising medium the way they always have in the past.  Get more information on using pay per click below:
