The free aspect is pretty self explanatory. Most websites are free to visit. Original content is very important. The visitors that land on your site should be offered information that they have not seen before. Do not cobble information from other website. It will not read correctly and your visitors will be distracted. Not only will it not read right Google has quite sophisticated software that can spot an unoriginal website. This will effect your reputation and therefore your page rank.
